These are indeed all well-documented issues that have some partial or full solutions. With what I can gather with a couple hours of doing keyboard-monkey thingy-things, on top of my accumulated experience over several rage-quits "I'm going back to X11" spanning the last few years, it seems there's still no silver bullet and only 'good-enough' solutions. I hope I can help myself with your experience and others that might face in similar situation. I'm making this post as the information on setting up a decent clipboard solution is all over the place.
